Writing Portfolio

      Theories of Writing is the first class that I took as a writing practices minor and the piece from this class that I want to include in my portfolio is the Theory of Writing Expression Paper. This piece was created after we had studied various theories of writing and after we created our own theory of writing. The theory of writing that I created had to do with procrastination and how it could be helpful but also detrimental to one’s writing and writing process. The Theory of Writing Expression Paper, which I am including here, was a way for me to take that theory that I had created and apply it into a new piece of work that I could create. That resulted in this piece that you are seeing today! 
      I really appreciated taking the class and being able to create my own theory of writing and apply it because it truly helped me grow as a writer. I took this course during the Fall quarter of 2021 and many of the other pieces I have included in my portfolio were written after I took this class. I hope that with this piece you can see how much I have grown as a writer from my first class in this minor all the way to today.
